Q:Why are water cooled chillers more efficient than air cooled chillers?
Water-cooled chillers are more efficient because its condense depending on the ambient temperature bulb temperature, which is lower than the ambient dry bulb temperature. The lower a chiller condenses, the more efficient it is.
Q:How do condensers and evaporators work?
The evaporator works the opposite of the condenser, here refrigerant liquid is converted to gas, absorbing heat from the air in the compartment. When the liquid refrigerant reaches the evaporator its pressure has been reduced, dissipating its heat content and making it much cooler than the fan air flowing around it.
Q:Why do we use shell and tube in heat exchanger?
